RIB Tube

The use of an air-inflated RIB tube to provide buoyancy on a boat is a well proven technology. In addition to buoyancy, the RIB tube provides fendering and soft contact when coming alongside other craft or pontoons.

The c-fury™ RIB tube has a three chamber design, with a pressure relief valve in each chamber. Our tubes are made from high specification material : 'Orca' by Pennel & Flipo (also referred to as Hypalon - trademark of DuPont)

c-fury™ craft have twin lifelines, one on the inside and one on the outside of the tube, providing easy access to a secure handhold whether on the boat or in the water. In addition, there is a very effective fender on the side of the tube, which further reduces the potenital for spray on the already exceptionally dry ride.

There are various ways of making the RIB tube and attaching it to the hull. But unlike most other RIBs, the c-fury™ tube is designed to be easily removable - so it can be inspected, serviced or quickly replaced should the need arise.
