Simple efficient controls

The helm position is designed around the driver. The ergonomic layout means improved driver comfort and reduced fatigue. There are no unsightly wires or pipework. Afterall, if you don't need to see it, then why should you? Just enjoy the light and precise steering (hydraulic systems for 50Hp and above as standard) with the flush mounted shifter.

Using the Yamaha round digital network gauges the standard equipment specification is high for such a small craft and common across the range, including:

Multifunction tachometer - Engine speed and trim / warnings / running hours
Multifunction speedometer - GPS speed and clock / water speed, depth and temperature / fuel computer
Yamaha Customer Outboard Protection system (YCOPs) - is an engine immobiliser system using a simple remote radio keyfob - see image below.
