Laminates

As c-fury™ craft are RIBs, they use GRP for the hull and deck. The quality of the finished GRP is affected by many parameters. To put it simply, not all GRP is equal.

First and foremost, a good set of production mould tools is vital. All c-fury™ tools are created from CNC machined and extensively hand finished master patterns. The photograph shows a section of the hull tool and shows the level of the surface finish achieved.

Secondly, high grade materials are required. Vinyl Ester is used for all gelcoats and resins, along with multiaxial woven rovings and coremat.

Thirdly, experienced application optimises the high quality tooling and materials. All of our moulding is undertaken by Norco Limited in Poole, Dorset. Norco extensively train their own team of laminators and operate in numerous industries. Many of their customers are household names.

The result is a small craft with both an inherently strong design and exceptional mould strength and finish.

All a result of Attention To Detail (ATD).
