A few years ago, we started looking for a small power boat that was exciting and fun, yet suitable for our young families. The brief was short yet demanding: to deliver a unique riding experience in a small craft.

We wanted a small power boat with the top-end performance we craved, but which was also safe, stable and suitable for the whole family.  We wanted the family to share our passion for boating, which meant the boat had to be fun and definitely non-scary. Comfort, ease of use and ease of control were key priorities. We wanted something stylish, but nevertheless affordable and with excellent fuel efficiency.  Small boats are practical: they are easy to tow, easy to launch and comfortably fit into the garage. But we certainly don’t enjoy the cramped space and rough ride quality typical of a small RIB.  We didn't want a one-dimensional boat; instead, we wanted the flexibility to choose between a wide variety of  activities. So the boat had to simultaneously have the fuel range and ergonomic comfort needed for expeditions, the power to support water sports, plenty of storage space, precision control at low speeds for, say, fishing yet also with the acceleration and responsive steering tto make "just messing around" a good laugh.

Very quickly, we realised that there simply wasn’t anything on the market that even remotely met our requirements. So we designed our own boat . The “family watercraft” concept was born.
